Since centuries the "Vineyard Wader“ is run by family Wader. Anne Wader (Henriette Richter-Röhl) is a passionate winegrower: She loves the work in the vineyards und has high standards concerning the quality of her product. For Albert Wader (Hartmut Volle) his daughter is the ideal successor to the traditional family business.  But when he suddenly dies from a heart-attack the family is confronted with a huge problem: No last will exists. Anne's brother Matthias (Max von Pufendorf) and their mother Käthe (Leslie Malton) want to sell their share and Anne doesn't have enough money to buy them out. Is this the end for Anne's dream? What will happen to her and her blind daughter Tori (Caroline Hartig)? But selling the business to the uncle Bruno (Jürgen Heinrich), the family's "archenemy", is something Käthe wants to prevent at all costs.
